Overview
Vivint Solar needed a library of polished, updated images for use across newsletters, sales materials, the website, and roadshow collateral. Many of their existing solar panel photos were outdated, cluttered, or inconsistent. My role involved cleaning and transforming these images, removing distractions, improving environments, updating panel appearance, and even adding panels to homes where none existed to match new market needs. The goal was to create cohesive, professional visuals that aligned with Vivint Solar’s brand standards.
Problem
Vivint Solar’s existing photo library lacked clean, usable imagery for modern marketing. Many photos showed outdated solar panels, cluttered environments, visible power lines, damaged lawns, and inconsistent compositions. These issues made the visuals unsuitable for branding, regional campaigns, and sales materials, especially in markets where images needed to feel polished and accurate.
Solution
I performed extensive photo manipulation and retouching to modernize and restore each image. This included removing power lines, repairing lawns, cleaning up environments, expanding backgrounds, updating old panel models, and compositing new panels onto homes when needed. The final images were clean, aesthetic, and brand-aligned, giving Vivint Solar a reliable, professional library for use across all marketing channels.
