Overview
As part of Fishbowl Inventory’s partner appreciation initiative, I designed a functional, dual-branded mouse pad for Intuit’s QuickBooks program. The goal was to create a useful piece of swag that QuickBooks partners could give directly to their clients, something practical, on-brand, and genuinely helpful in daily workflows. The final design featured clean, legible hotkeys for frequently used QuickBooks functions while aligning with both Fishbowl and Intuit’s visual identities.
Problem
Fishbowl wanted partner appreciation swag that felt personal and truly valuable, not just another promotional item. Their challenge was to provide a gift that would meaningfully support partners' day-to-day work in QuickBooks while representing both brands. Existing options lacked utility and didn’t reinforce the partnership or address real workflow needs.
Solution
I created a mouse pad that served as both a branded gift and a productivity tool by featuring QuickBooks’ most-used hotkeys in a clear, easy-to-read layout. The design balanced functionality and aesthetics, incorporating both Intuit’s QuickBooks branding and Fishbowl’s identity while maintaining legibility at a small physical scale. The final product offered partners a thoughtful, practical resource they could use, and share with clients, to work more efficiently and strengthen brand connection.
