Christmas Card

Company:

Xyngular

Year:

2020

Overview

For Xyngular’s 2020 holiday season, I designed a Christmas card to be sent to distributors as a fun, uplifting gesture during the height of the pandemic. After exploring multiple concepts, we aligned on a humorous design that captured the spirit of the year, a Christmas tree built entirely from toilet paper rolls, referencing the well-known shortages of 2020 while keeping the tone festive and playful. The final card balanced holiday warmth with a relatable wink at the challenges of the year.

Problem

Xyngular wanted a Christmas card that felt cheerful and memorable, but traditional holiday designs didn’t reflect the unique circumstances of 2020. They needed something that acknowledged the year’s shared experience with humor while still feeling positive, on-brand, and appropriate for distributor outreach.

Solution

I created a whimsical toilet-paper Christmas tree illustration that combined holiday iconography with lighthearted pandemic humor. The design embraced a fun, relatable tone while remaining clean, bright, and brand-friendly. The final card was widely loved by distributors and delivered exactly the joyful, comedic touch Xyngular wanted for their holiday communication.
